“1st PTBF Ranking Bowling Tournament 2011 became the reason make all bowling players from all over Pakistan to compete among each other in order to analyze their skills. PTBF is now planning to bring International Coaches to Pakistan to polish the efforts and game play with modern techniques and effective guidance of the dedicated national bowling sportsmen to become internationally competitive. We have also scheduled India-Pakistan Tournament in near future to witness the status of our players playing against international team and to communicate the message of brotherhood & peace among both nations We are thankful to Sindh Tenpin Bowling Association and Royal Rodale Club Karachi for their valuable cooperation and support throughout the event”, said Ijaz ur Rehman (General Secretary, PTBF) Pakistan Tenpin Bowling Federation (PTBF) organized in collaboration with Royale Rodale Club Karachi, the 1st PTBF Ranking Bowling Tournament from 27th – 30th April 2011 at Royal Rodale Club under Single Masters, Open Singles, Double Team, Trios Team and 4-Player Team categories. Players from different cities of Pakistan participated in the tournament comprises of 32 Single Masters, 15 double teams, 10 trios team, and 8 4-Player Team. In Single Master Category, Shabbir Lashkerwala of Sindh Tenpin Bowling Association retained the tournament title by winning the Single Master Category with 375 points after having a cutthroat final in which the result was dependant on the final strike by top seed Mr. Ijaz Ur Rehman of Islamabad Tenpin Bowling Association, who scored 356 points. Shabbir needed to win 2 games and Ejaz ur Rehman required a single match but still the champion proved the wining status. Mr. Fazil Maniya secured 3rd Position by dropping down 160 pins. In Singles Open Category, Mr. Fazil Maniya was the Winner leading from Mr. Ijaz ur Rehman (Runners up), and Mr. Usman Ghani secured 3rd position. In Double Team Category, Mr. Farhan Maniya and Mr. Fazil Maniya secured the 1st Position by dropping down 1,187 in total, Mr. Faisal Malik and Mr. Ali Shah from Islamabad obtained 2nd Position by scoring a total of 1096 points. Mr. Aleem Agha the bowling legend and Mr. Ahmed Shaikhani the champion of 14th Sindh Games 2011 got 3rd Position with a slight difference of just 6 points. In Trios Team Category, a tripod of Farhan Maniya, Fazil Maniya & Yousuf Maniya were the Winners leading from Shabbir Lashkerwala, Usman Ghani & Naeem Ibrahim’s tripod, who were the runners-up. Mr. Ahmed Shaikhani, Mr. Aleem Agha & Mr. Naseem Ahmed obtained the 3rd Position. In 4-Players Team, Mr. Saleem Baig, Mr. Ijaz ur Rehman, Mr. Zafar Iqbal & Mr. M. H. Chatta secured 1st Position by scoring combined 2170 points. The Team of Mr. Zahid Mehmood, Mr. Shahjahan Bhatti, Mr. Robert Shanghara & Faizan Tariq were the Runners-up with a close difference with the position holders with score of 2166 points leaving far behind the group of Mr. Farhaj Ahmed, Mr. Abid Ahmed, Mr. M. Arsalan & Mr. Farhan Riaz who dropped down 2062 pins in total.
